Green’s Energy Group, LLC -- the case that has asked SCOTUS to determine whether inter partes review (IPR) proceedings before an executive agency tribunal are constitutional, or whether the determination of patent validity must take place in Article III federal courts. While there will not be a decision from the Supreme Court for several months, Mr. Re will lead an interactive discussion to examine how patent lawyers might have answered some of the significant questions the justices asked the advocates in Oil States.
